William S. Wood, 82, of North Providence, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Jo Ann (Cornachione) Wood.
Mr. Wood was a foreman at Ocean State News for many years before retiring. He was also a member of the Teamster Union Local 251.
He is survived by his two nephews, Myron J. Wood and Kevin L Wood. He was the brother of the late Irving J. Wood.
Visitation will be held Friday Morning, June 16, 2023, from 10 a.m.- 11 a.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army of Providence, 386 Broad St., Providence, RI 02907.
