William A. Signorello, Jr., 82, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Monday April 20, 2026, at home. He was the loving husband of Deborah R. (DiMeo) Signoriello for fifty-five years.
Bill was a proud graduate of Mansfield High School and attended Rhode Island College. He was an electrician and owned Heritage Electric. Bill also worked for Rise Engineering and was the Housing and Electrical Inspector for the Town of North Providence. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. Bill was an active and dedicated member and past president of the North Providence Lions Club.
Bill was a devoted family man whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family and friends. He is remembered for his deep commitment to his family and the loving presence he brought to their lives each day. Bill’s grandchildren were the light of his life. He treasured every opportunity to take them places and watch them grow.
Bill will also be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He had a way of making people feel welcome and at ease, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him. His warmth and wit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his loving children: William A. Signoriello, III and Amy-Beth Cicillini and her husband Gary, three grandchildren, William M. Signoriello, Andrew J. Cicillini and Aaron Cicillini, and two sisters, Anita Dwyer and Gail Watkins. He was the brother of the late Frederick Signoriello.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. His funeral will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to VNA of Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.
