Viola M. Palumbo (Pearce), 89, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Palumbo. Born in Providence and raised in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Jane (Cathers) Pearce. She is survived by her loving daughters, Ann Flannery, Jane Sheehan and her husband Tom, Mary Palumbo and her husband George Yerger, and Susan Palumbo.
Vi nurtured her own passion for travel in her daughters, sharing adventures with them around the world and creating memories that they will always treasure.
She is also survived by a devoted brother, Richard Pearce, ten cherished grandchildren and a dear great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 25th from 9:30am to10:30am at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
