Vincent Rainone

Vincent Rainone, 84, of North Providence, passed Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Carmella (Sullo) Rainone. Mr. Rainone worked in jewelry manufacturing for many years before retiring.  He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his sister, Elena Burford; his companion, Beatrice Gobin; and many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Concetta "Connie" Cotoia, Louis, , Clement, Anthony, John and Nicholas Rainone. His funeral will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence.  Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
