Victor Ricci

Victor Ricci, 95, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Brookdale Greenwich Bay.  He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Patrone) Ricci for 68 years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Carmela (Montaquilla) Ricci. Mr. Ricci was an assistant manager for Star Market for many years before retiring.  He was an Army Veteran of World War II and was a member of the Santa Maria di Prata Society.    Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Rev. Alfred V. Ricci; and many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Anthony Ricci, Mario Ricci, Josephine Esposito and Helen Trabucco. His funeral will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick.  Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visitation Friday 4 - 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Ricci's memory may be made to: Rhode Island SPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI  02915.
