Teresa M. Guglielmetti

Teresa M. (Colantonio) Guglielmetti, 92, passed away peacefully at West View Nursing Home on Thursday, October 26, 2017.  She was the wife of the late Matteo P. Guglielmetti, Sr. and mother of the late Paula Cappelli.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo and Assunta (Simonelli) Colantonio.  Mrs. Guglielmetti worked for New England Telephone Company before retiring.  She was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers and the Johnston Democratic Women's League. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her two children, Bernadette Groves and her husband Ralph and Matteo P. Guglielmetti, Jr. and his wife Dawn; five grandchildren, Abbie Groves, Joslyn Groves, Jacquelyn Lawton, Jake Guglielmetti and Justin Guglielmetti; and three great grandchildren, Kyla, Madison and Chace.  She was the sister of the late Anna Mollicone and Olga Mitchell. Visitation will be held Monday Morning, October 30, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence.  Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Guglielmetti's memory may be made to: West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Activities Fund, 239 Legris Ave., West Warwick, RI  02893 or Catholic Charities, One Cathedral Square, Providence, RI  02903.
