Sylvia Jones

Sylvia Jones (Magnani), 95, of Providence, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at home. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinando and Annina (Forti) Magnani. Sylvia retired as a Premium Processing Supervisor for AMICA Insurance Company, completing 32 years of combined service. Sylvia loved to cook and bake. Sylvia was an avid reader, most recently completing over 85 novels by author, Danielle Steele, her favorite being "Star" from 1989.

Sylvia is survived by her stepson, Patrick Jones, including ten nieces and nephews. Sylvia was the sister of the late Severio, Anthony "Tony" and Joseph Magnani, Sofia Magnani-Notorianni and Lillian Spirito-Martini. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday October 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
