STARNINO, SYLVIA J. (SPIRITO), 78, of Providence, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Julio “BoBo” Starnino. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Cullen) Spirito.
Sylvia was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by five sons, Richard, Ronnie, David, Joseph and Robert Starnino; three daughters, Jane Bird, Patty Starnino and Elaine Oliva; a brother, Martin Spirito, 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves her dedicated dog, Bo. She was the sister of the late Anthony Spirito.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, Atwells Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers respectfully omitted. Arrangements by Maceroni Funeral Home.
