Stanford "Stanley" Quick, 85, of Johnston, passed away at The Miriam Hospital on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Glenn and Mary (Silva) Quick.
Stanley worked for Fleet Construction in Cumberland before retiring. He was a member of Teamsters Local 251 and a lifetime member of Johnston Hose Company 3.
He is survived by his four children, Cheryl Nelson and her husband, Mark, Albert Quick and his wife, Sandy, Karen O'Leary and Marie Sweeney and her husband, Ed; a brother, Clayton Quick; five grandchildren, Danielle Quick, Christopher Quick, Michael Behm, Amanda Nelson and Mathew Nelson; and his great grandson, Nicholas.
Stanley's funeral and burial will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
