Salvatore Caprio

Salvatore C. Caprio, 92, formerly of Johnston, passed away peacefully, of natural causes, at his daughter's home, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Edna M. (Morsilli) Caprio for 64 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Raffaele and Adeline (Gizzarelli) Caprio.

Mr. Caprio worked as a jewelry polisher for many years, before retiring.

A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he is survived by his three children, Cindy Miller and her spouse, Mike of Colleyville, TX, Ronald Caprio and his spouse, Dorothy of Alabama and Alexia Caprio and her spouse, Sheri Lanni of Groton, MA; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Dora Marchetti and Rocco Fratelli.

Visitation will be held Saturday Morning, May 4, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, RI. Graveside interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI.
