Col. Rosindo E. Caldarone, Jr., 82, of Fort Pierce, FL, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Indian River Medical Center in Floirda. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rosindo E. Caldarone, Sr. and Antonetta (Lombardi) Caldarone. Colonel Caldarone spent his career as a distinguished member of the United States Army. He served as Chief Logistics Officer for the National Guard Bureau at the Pentagon in Washington, DC and was a ROTC instructor in Delray Beach, Florida before retiring. He was a recipient of the Rhode Island Star and is honored on the Wall of Fame at Camp Varnum in Narragansett. He was a graduate of Indiana University and Harvard Business School. He is survived by his sister, Angela Bailey; a brother, Alfred Caldarone and his wife Arline; and many children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
