Rose Manzo, 94, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas Manzo for 74 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Biagio and Jenny (Vitale) Cesino.
Rose worked for The Shepard Company and Peerless Department Store for many years, before retiring. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Linda Binder and Rosemary Tutsch; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Nicholas Manzo Jr., Philip Manzo and Anne Marie Manzo and was predeceased by nine siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on ? November ?, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Visitation is respectfully omitted, and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's memory may be made to Continuum Care Hospice of Rhode Island, 1350 Division Rd Suite 205, West Warwick, RI 02893.
