Rose E. Groccia (Ciolli)

Rose E. Groccia, 95, of North Providence, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at home. She was the wife of the late Armando Groccia. Born in Providence,  she was the daughter of the late John and Lucia (DeQuattro) Ciolli.  

Rose was the deputy town clerk for the Town of North Providene for many years before retiring.

She leaves her two sons, David R. Groccia and Robert M. Groccia; a sister, Edith D’Alfonso; two grandchildren, Kayla Dyer and David Groccia, II, and two great - grandchildren, Cameron and McKenna Dyer. She was the sister of the late John Peter Ciolli and Angelina Poulios.   

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4^th St., North Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Monday 4-7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose’s memory may be made to Christina Groccia Memorial Scholarship c/o North Providence High School, 1828 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, RI 02904. maceroni.com
