Ronald A. DiLibero, Sr., 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Erminia (Serrecchia) DiLibero.
Ron was a medical clerk at the VA Medical Center in Providence for over 40 years before retiring. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at Holy Ghost Church and a member of the All Sports Bowling League in Johnston for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family, friends and he loved to cook. His favorite things included going to the beach, watching the NY Giants and listening to country music. He was known for his thoughtfulness, humor, his kind heart and his love for life.
He is survived by his children, Melanie DiLibero and her husband Angelo Lisena, Ronald DiLibero, Jr. and his wife Rachel and Marc McKenna and his wife Samantha; three brothers; four grandchildren Ethan, Ella, Mario and Gianpaolo; and his great-grandchild Luca Lorenzo. He was the brother of the late Dennis DiLibero.
Visitation will be held on Thursday morning, December 5, 2024 from 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association https://www.alz.org
