Roland Sinesi

August 14, 1938 — March 26, 2021

Roland Sinesi, 82, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 26, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Petreccia) Sinesi for 59 years. Born in East Brockton, MA, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Stella (Ingala) Sinesi.

Mr. Sinesi was an applications specialist for CVS for many years before retiring. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Roland Sinesi Jr. and his fiancée, Joanne DiOrio, Susan Rondeau and her husband, Tom and Jennifer McIntosh and her husband, George; a sister, Lillian Reynolds; eight grandchildren, Erika Sinesi, Tommy Rondeau, Eddy Macomber, Arielle Sinesi, Samantha Rondeau, Ashley Sinesi, James McIntosh and Jessica McIntosh; his two great granddaughters, Alexa and Gia; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was the brother of the late Sabino Sinesi M.D., Charles Sinesi C.S.S., Rugiero Sinesi, John Joseph Sinesi, Don Sinesi Esq., Validoro "Val" Sinesi and Rebella Sinesi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Seating will be limited; face coverings and social distancing will be observed. Visitation is respectfully omitted and burial will be private. Donations in Mr. Sinesi's memory may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
