Roland G. Ferland

Roland G. Ferland, 76, of Johnsonville, SC,  passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House, with his loving family by his side.  He was the beloved husband of Sherry Marlow Ferland.  Born on October 13, 1940 in Canada, he was the son of the late Origene and Annette Ferland. Mr. Ferland was a veteran of the United States Marines.  He was a retired truck driver/terminal manager for C-Line. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Diane (Kirk) Lord of Providence, RI, Joseph R Ferland of Illinois,  Roland J (Kristian) Ferland of Johnson, RI, Michelle A Ferland of Hemingway, SC, Jennifer (Thad) Rogers of Florence, SC and Olivia Floyd of Lake City, SC; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 5:30pm in St. Raymond's Church, 1240 N. Main Street, Providence, RI  02904. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass at 5:00pm in the Church Foyer. The family would like to extend a "Thank You" to the Staff & Residents of Southland Health Care Center.
