Robert J. DeLisi

Robert J. DeLisi, 81, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Elmhurst Extended Care.  He was the husband of the love of his life, Beverly (DeSantis) DeLisi.  They had been married for 52 years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Mareno and Barbara (Albanese) DeLisi and was the brother of the late Mareno DeLisi, Jr. Bob was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and attended Wentworth College.  He was a sergeant in the National Guard Reserve.  A real estate investor and contractor, he owned various properties along with his wife.  He was member of the Rhode Island Builders Association and various other organizations.  Bob physically cared for his mom and dad daily.  He was grateful to his wife for the physical care and time she gave to his parents.  Bob stated... "We will be rewarded in Heaven." Visitation will be held Monday Morning, March 27, 2017 from 8 - 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston
