Robert F. Blake, 87, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol. He was the husband of the late Adelaide (Schlink) Blake. Born in Seekonk, MA, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Tully) Blake.
Robert was a dedicated Nuclear Engineer with Stone & Webster, where he built a respected career through his expertise and commitment. A devout Catholic, he was a faithful member of Mary Mother of Mankind Church.
Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy Seabees, carrying that sense of honor and service with him throughout his life.
In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and bowling, but nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his faith, and his country.
He is survived by his two sons and one daughter, William Blake, Jacqueline Blake, James Blake and his wife Jamie; four stepdaughters, Debra Choiniere, Cyndi Carlson, Joanne DeMasco, Barbara DeMasco and her husband, David Beauchemin; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Robert Blake and brother of the late Thomas Blake and the late John Blake.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 4–7 p.m. Inurnment with Military Honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
