Regina Sands

Regina Sands, 89, of North Kingstown, passed away on December 15, 2024 at Roberts Health Centre. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Anna (Stuhler) Heilmann. Born in Germany, she immigrated to the United States in the 1950s and married the late Donald Dean Sands of Amorita, Oklahoma. She is survived by her loving daughter, Violet Sands.

Regina, who was known for her strong work ethic by her colleagues and closest friends, liked to enjoy life to the fullest in her free time. She had a deep appreciation for music, relished good times with friends, loved being out on the water, was an avid gardener and an accomplished ballroom dancer. Her funeral will be private. Donations may be made in Regina’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
