Raymond Douglas, Jr.

Raymond L. Douglas, Jr., 77, of North Providence, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence surrounded by his loving family. Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Raymond L. Douglas Sr., the late Elizabeth (Gebbler) Douglas.

He was a oil truck driver for DeBlois Oil Company and later for Petro Oil Company for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his life partner Donna Douglas and his former wife Carol Douglas, he was the devoted father of Raymond L. Douglas III and his wife Stephanie Douglas, Kimberly Mattera and her husband William Mattera and Carolyn Johnston and her husband Brien Johnston, he leaves behind eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, brothers, James and Robert Douglas. He was the brother of the late John Douglas and Dorothy Whitehead.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be private.
