Paula Cappelli

PAULA CAPPELLI (GUGLIELMETTI), 64, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 2, 2017.  She was the beloved wife of Angelo R. Cappelli, Jr.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Teresa (Colantonio) Guglielmetti and the late Matteo P. Guglielmetti. Paula worked as a registered nurse for the State of Rhode Island - Eleanor Slater Hospital.  A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her cherished daughter, Jacquelyn Lawton and her husband Steven; a brother, Matteo P. Gugliemetti, Jr.; a sister, Bernadette Groves; and her two treasured grandchildren, Madison and Chace Lawton. Her funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
