Paul DelVecchio

Paul D. DelVecchio Sr., 71, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Ianiero) DelVecchio.

 

Paul owned and operated P. DelVecchio Remodeling for many years before he retired. Carpentry wasn’t just a job for him, it was his passion. He was a “ Jack of all trades “ he could build or fix anything. He loved his family and being in nature. He was a devoted father and grandfather.  He loved walking and spending time at the ocean. His favorite pastime was playing the slots at the local casinos and he never refused a good family card game. He was a man of many talents. He had a beautiful singing voice and could draw anything. 

 

He is survived by his daughter, Vanessa DelVecchio-Lindimore and his son, Paul DelVecchio Jr.; his brother, Dennis DelVecchio and his wife, Linda and 4 grandchildren, Samantha ,Austin, and Alana. He was the brother of the late Brenda Madden and Anthony DelVecchio, Jr.


Visitation will be held on Tuesday Morning, May 14, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence, RI, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at St Ann Cemetery, Church St., Cranston, RI.
