Palma Forte

Palma A. Forte, 98, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2024.  She was the wife of the late William Forte.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Louisa (Pascale) Chece.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her three children, William D. Forte and his wife Karen, Joyce Finley and her husband Lynn and Pamela Ricci and her husband David; four grandchildren, Ryan Ricci, Stephen Ricci. William and Daniel Forte; and five great-grandchildren, Waylyn, Presley, Luca, Sofia and Maison; and her sister Anna DeAngelis and sister-in-law Anna Chece.   She was the sister of the late John and Pasco Chece.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Visitation is respectfully omitted.  Donations in Palma’s memory may be made to HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI  02904.
