Obituary

Nicholas M. Azzarone,Jr. 73 of North Providence passed on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

He was the beloved husband of Donna (D'Agostino) Azzarone with whom he shared many devoted years of marriage.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicholas M. Azzarone,Sr. and Mary (Lavery) Azzarone and brother-in-law of the late Albert Louro.

In addition to his loving wife Donna he is survived by his sister, Donna Aubin, his sister-in-law Marie Louro; his niece Robin and his two nephews, Joshua and Jason.

Nick dedicated much of his career to education, working as a manager of school computer classes at New Horizons and several other educational institutions before retiring in 2021. He was never to busy to help a student with a computer issue or listen to a problem.

Nick always had an interest in helping children and animals. He will be missed by his dog Bailey of 13 years who was extremely close to him.

Nick had a great interest in his church. He used his computer skills to help his church with many different programs and enjoyed everything he did on the computer for the church. Nick also found it satisfying to work as a greeter for the chuch. He also found time to help on line for the Providence Reds. He really enjoyed hockey and football too.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12,2026 from 8:30 am to 9:30 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:AM at Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nick's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN38105.
