Michael F. Howland

Michael F. Howland, 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at home. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl (McParlin) Howland. Born in Newton, Ma., he was the son of Richard E. Howland and the late Dorothy (Gallagher) Howland.

He worked as a pipe fitter for 30 years at Technic Inc. He served in the Navy with the seabees.

Michael leaves four sons, David D. McCollum and his companion Melany, Matthew J. McCollum and his wife Cassy, Kevin K. McCollum, Liam M.P. Howland, one daughter Channon A. Howland and his adopted daughter Shannon Sparks. His little best friend Jacob “Pickles” Jackson, two brothers, James E. Howland and Matthew J. Howland, one sister Linda G. Pachomski.

His funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to RI S.P.C.A. 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886.
