Mary Taglianetti

June 13, 1922 — June 22, 2022

Mary (Del Bonis) Taglianetti, 100, of North Providence passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was married to the late Paul Taglianetti for 61 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria Civita (Saccoccio) Del Bonis and stepdaughter of the late Felice (Caparelli) Del Bonis.

She was the loving mother of Lisa M. Abenante, Dana R. Taglianetti and the late Paul J. Taglianetti; grandmother of Kara Taglianetti, Ralph Abenante IV and Bryan Abenante; and great grandmother of Cal T. Abenante. Mary is also survived by her daughter-in-law Johanna L. Taglianetti. She was the sister of the late Phyllis Marotti and James Del Bonis.

Mary worked as a school lunch aide in the City of Providence for many years before retiring.
She was a wonderful cook and the family especially enjoyed her holiday meals. Mary's weekends were spent visiting yard sales in search of hidden treasures as well as weekly trips to the Casino with friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
