Mary (Lamantia) Piccirillo, 81, of North Scituate, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at The Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Pasco Piccirillo.
Born in Providence in 1943, Mary was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Felicia (Giorgi) Lamantia.
Mary had worked alongside her late husband assisting him with his business. She also worked at Mangiarelli’s Fruitland in North Providence and the Rally Point Tennis Club. Mary had a deep love for animals and was a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Church in North Scituate, where she belonged to the Women’s Guild at her church, and the Son’s of Italy.
She is survived by her four children: Maria Baron and her husband Kevin, Catherine Drolet and her husband Kevin, Frank M. Piccirillo and his wife Julie, and John Piccirillo and his wife Spyce Hogan. Mary also leaves behind her sister, Doreen Pelagio, and five cherished grandchildren: Kevin Drolet, Michael Drolet, Evan Carpenter, Holly Carpenter, and Maxamillion Piccirillo. She was predeceased by her siblings, John Lamantia and Jeanette Restivo.
Mary was the most kind and gentle woman anyone would ever get to know. She was truly an angel on earth and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rhode Island SPCA.
