Mary Martino

Mary Martino, 92, of North Providence, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 6, 2023.  Born in Astoria, New York, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Santa (Insana) Martino.

Mary worked in the jewelry industry for many years, before retiring.

She is survived by her sister, Santa “Sadie” Codagnone; her nieces, Lynn Penkala, Patricia Marurono-Provau; and her nephews, Dr. Robert Codagnone, Michael Marurono and Richard Marurono. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was the sister of the late Gabriel Maururono and the aunt of the late Kathleen Gifford.

Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning, April 19, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence.  Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI  02904
