Marisa DeCristofaro, 76, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23,2026. She was the beloved companion of John Paterra. Born in Ciorlano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Emilia (Ciotti)DeCristofaro.

Marisa worked for J.J. Paterra & Co for 45 years.

She enjoyed many aspects of her life but above all she enjoyed and cherished time with the people she loved. She will be remembered for her generosity, passionate spirit and authenticity.

A loving and devoted companion, sister, and aunt, Marisa will be deeply missed by John and her siblings, Elizabeth Petteruti, Guy DeCristofaro (Dianne), and Nick DeCristofaro (Michele). She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Peter. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private.
