Marie (Mollicone) Marino, 96, of West Greenwich, formerly of Johnston, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Kingston Center in Exeter. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic "Mims" Marino. Born in Genoa, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Eleuterio and Assunta (Notargiacomo) Mollicone. Marie was the co-owner with her husband of the former Mim's Market in Johnston. After the closing of the market, she was the office manager for Allman Products in Johnston before retiring at the age of 90 in 2006. She was a very active communicant of St. Thomas Church in Providence. In addition, she was a member of the Red Hats Society and volunteered at Hopkins Manor. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Marino; her daughter, Sandra A. Pavlow and her husband Jonathan; a granddaughter, Natasha Hamelin and her husband Gregory, and two great-grandsons, Jameson and Nathaniel Hamelin. She was the sister of the late Bernard, Joseph and Lawrence Mollicone and Anna Scungio. Her Funeral will be held Saturday June 10, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence.
