Maria Garganese

Maria M. Garganese, 86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Domenico and Lena (Gianotti) Bruno.

Before her retirement, Maria dedicated many years of service to Fulford Manufacturing.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, Maria leaves behind two loving daughters, Carla M. Minutelli and her husband Anthony, and Nicole A. Garganese DiMuccio and her husband Robert; her dear sister, Dolores Gazerro and her husband Andrew, Jr.; and five cherished grandchildren: Anthony Minutelli, Jr., Nicholas Minutelli, Alec Minutelli, Sarina Connor, and Aiden Garganese.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday morning, October 31, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m.at St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Maria’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Anchor Bay at Pocasset and Gentiva Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and exceptional care during her stay.
