Margarita "Maggie"Viera, 50, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 2, 2026. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Margarita (Rivera) Viera.

Maggie was a loving and caring person whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family, friends, and loved ones. Margarita enjoyed the simple things in life that brought her happiness. She loved watching baseball, the Food Network, traveling, and making memories with the people she cared about most. She had a special love for her pets, who were an important part of her life and family.

Those who knew Maggie will remember her for the love she gave so freely and for the happiness she found in being surrounded by the people and pets she loved. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and hold her close in their hearts.

Maggie will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marggie is survived by her caring and devoted caretakers Dawn Cochrane and Suzy Lopez and their loving family, her sister Sara Viera and her husband, Ramon Rodriguez; and all her loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence.
