Luca A. Lancellotti

October 23, 1939 — January 6, 2022

Luca A. Lancellotti, 82, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra A. (Conti) Lancellotti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter and Yolanda (Pesare) Lancellotti.

Luca previously owned and operated Luca's Tap and Lance Soldering. He most recently worked as a waiter and tended bar at various local restaurants before retiring. He was a member of the Portuguese American Social Club in Smithfield, where he also was employed for many years. He enjoyed going to the casino and sharing stories of his days growing up on Federal Hill. His greatest passion was spending time with his family all together with good food and good wine.

A loving and devoted father and grandfather, he is survived by his son, Luca A. Lancellotti, Jr. and his wife Denise; his daughter, Rhonda Montella and her husband Gerald; a brother, Raymond Lancellotti; two sisters, Brenda Deconto and Barbara Giansanti; and four grandchildren, Gianna and Taylor Montella and Bianca and Vincent Lancellotti. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Lancellotti.

Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning, January 12, 2022 from 8 - 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham St., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are kindly asked to wear face masks. In lieu of flowers, donations in Luca's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research, P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
