Louise R. La Torre

Louise R. LaTorre (Moratto), 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 15 with her family by her side at Cedar Crest Nursing Center after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony "Tony" LaTorre. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Concetta (Seneca) Moratto. For many years, the LaTorre household was the gathering place for Sunday meals and holiday celebrations. Louise loved to cook and always made sure nobody left hungry. She enjoyed life with her children and their spouses, celebrating all the milestones life handed her. What made her most content was being with her family, especially enjoying the happiness her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her. Louise leaves behind her beloved children; Anthony LaTorre and his wife Debby, Peter LaTorre and his wife Peggi, Cheryl Currier and her husband Jeff, Donna Manocchio, and Paul LaTorre and his wife Joyce; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Anna DiMuccio.
