Louis W. Grande

Louis W. Grande, 82, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 10, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis (Noviello) Grande for 59 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James and Lillian (DiSanto) Grande.

Louis was the owner of Savon Shoes in North Providence, a business he established in 1984. He also managed Hood Milk and was a real estate developer. Louis was an avid golfer and enjoyed his retirement at his home in Florida. Louis was most notably a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Louis Grande, Jr. and his wife Sharon and David Grande and his wife Junel; a brother, James Grande, Jr; and his treasured grandchildren, Alexa, Gianna, Vivienne, Emma and Sydni.

The family wishes to extend their sincerest appreciation to Nursing Placement Hospice and Palliative Care for the kind and compassionate care of Louis.

In accordance with Louis' wishes, his wake and burial will be private. There will be a public Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 11 am in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence.
