Louis F. Caputo

LOUIS F. CAPUTO, 87, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Loreta (Forte) Caputo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Angelo and Viola (Riccitelli) Caputo. Louis was a postal worker at the Turnkey Post Office in Providence for 35 years. He loved his home and summers at Cape Cod. He was regarded as a "Saint on Earth" by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Debra Caputo; a sister, Ann Proulx, and his grandson, Robert Louis Caputo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will be private.
