Loretta A. Sullivan

Loretta A. Sullivan (Alessandro), 84, of North Providence passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Sullivan.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Orazio and Grace (Sindone) Alessandro. Loretta was the Deputy Tax Collector at the Town of North Providence for 27 years, retiring in 1998. She was also a longtime member of the North Providence Democratic Women's Committee. She is survived by her sons, Robert Sullivan, and Richard Sullivan and his wife Kelly; her daughters, Linda Giorgio and her husband Steven, and Barbara Corrente and her husband Michael; two sisters, Dolores Etchells and Rita Principe, and six grandchildren, Steven Giorgio, Michael, Anthony, Alana and Alyssa Corrente and Isabella Sullivan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 4, 2017 at 9 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 4th Street, North Providence. Burial will be Private. Calling hours Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations in Loretta's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
