Laura Rita D'Arezzo

Laura Rita D’Arezzo (Hamel), 91, of South Kingstown, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late James D’Arezzo. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Yvonne (Turcotte) Hamel.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Lee Lawing and her husband Bruce; her brother, Gerard “Gus” Hamel and his wife Liz; two grandchildren, Kelly Trammell (John) and Michael Lawing(Caitlyn), and 3 great-grandchildren, Madison, Morgan and Grayson Lawing. She was the sister of the late Leo, William, Norman and Donald Hamel.

Her funeral and burial will be private.
