Kenny "Buca" L. Tanner, 46, of North Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the cherished son of Lois (Ritz) Tanner and the late Kenneth M. Tanner.
Kenny was a truck driver for Swift Transportation for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing.
Besides his mother he is survived by his three sisters, Belinda Geronda, of North Providence, Reneé Spaulding and her husband Roland of Smithfield and Kimberly Tanner-Leon of Davie, Florida. He is also survived by his nephew, Roland Spaulding, III of North Providence; nieces, Taylor Rubino and her husband Matthew of Keene, New Hampshire and Alexandria Leon of Davie, Florida; his aunt and uncle, Angela and Anthony Rossi; his aunt, Joyce Rizzo; and many cousins and friends.
A Prayer Service will be held Monday Evening, November 20, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Visiting hours will also be held Monday from 4 - 6:30 p.m.
