KENNETH R. CAMPAGNONE, 64, of Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 13, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Mosca) Campagnone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine S. and Antonetta “Jennie” (DiPrato) Campagnone.
Kenneth was the Postmaster at Weybosset Hill Post Office and worked for the Postal Service for over 40 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Keith A. Campagnone and his wife Mary and Kenneth R. Campagnone, Jr.; a daughter, Jodie M. Bellucci and her husband Vincent; two brothers, Carmine S. Campagnone , Jr. and Dennis Campagnone; a sister, Ann Campagnone Gemma and a grandson, Vincent DiBiase. He was the brother of the late Pasquale “Pat” Campagnone.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITATION MONDAY 4-7 p.m.
