Katherine C. Lisi

Katherine C. Lisi, 82, of Johnston, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Miriam Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Vincenza (D'Elia) Lisi. "Miss Lisi", as she was known by her students, was an elementary school teacher in North Providence for many years before retiring at a relatively young age due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. Despite her many challenges, she lived a long and fruitful life. She was an alumna of Salve Regina College in Newport. She is survived by her five brothers, Umberto, Beneditto, Gennaro, Robert and Donald Lisi and many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late John V. Lisi, Filomena Martino and Amelia Lisi. A private burial was held at St. Ann Cemetery.
