Joseph A. DiSano

Joseph A. DiSano, "Chippy", 93, of Providence, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Richard) DiSano for 61 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Maria-Guiseppe (Soave) DiSano. Joseph was an automobile buyer and appraiser for various local dealerships. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and an avid Red Sox fan. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Joseph F. DiSano; his daughters, Stella Hicks, and Gina Marinaccio and her husband Anthony; two sisters, Norma Soares and Mary Lonardo; two granddaughters, Melanie Mimande and Stephanie Jones, and two great grandchildren, Thomas and Alyssa Mimande. The funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory may be made to the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, 02904.
