Obituary

Joseph A. Audino, 71, of Providence, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at VA Medical Center, Providence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert and Antonetta (Lepre) Audino. He was the devoted and loving husband of Barbara (Bogle) Audino, married for 52 years. He was the youngest brother of Gioachino Andreozzi and Maria Roddy, both of Los Angeles.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and later was employed as a postal worker for the United States Postal Service for many years before retiring in 2013.

He was the father of Shawn Audino (Maria Nguyen), Ryan Audino (Laurie Audino) and Shannon Audino (Robert Demers). He also leaves five grandchildren, Joshua Brennan-Audino, Alexa Audino, Ryan Audino Jr., Mia Audino and Max Hannah, and three step-grandchildren, Hailey Demers, Branden Demers and Madyson Demers.

He is remembered for being an active and constant role in the lives of his grandchildren, never missing a play, dance recital, band concert, or sporting event. He loved travelling and taking trips with his entire family, grandchildren included. He loved laughing and having pranks played on him by his grandchildren. He was a lover of music, especially the Beatles, and made sure his children and grandchildren knew what “good music” was!
