Jerilyn A. (Silva) Rucco, age 80, of Rehoboth, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Jeri was the beloved wife of the late Domenic A. Rucco who preceded her in death on August 30, 2022. Born in Warwick, Jeri was the daughter of the late Manuel M. and Georgine F. (Jones) Silva.

Jeri is survived by her five children, Deborah Mellor, Allison Dickson, Donna Rathbun, Domenic A. Rucco Jr., and Dyanna L. Rucco; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia J. Maine, and four brothers, Robert G., William D., Charles S., and Gregory K. Silva.

Jeri had a career as an office administrator for DAR Construction in Rehoboth, MA and enjoyed her earlier work as a dental assistant. She served as President of the Rehoboth Anawan Lions Club and was a passionate advocate for pets and wildlife. She loved playing the piano, had stellar vocal abilities, and was always happy to sing harmony at family gatherings. She was a loving and devoted mother and homemaker and an excellent cook. Jeri had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence followed by a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, will be private. maceroni.com
