Jennie Scotto

Jennie Scotto (Ravo), 97, a lifelong resident of Providence, passed away Tuesday August 22, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Vito A. Scotto for 50 years. Born in Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Pasqualina (Filacci) Ravo. Jennie was a jewelry stone setter for Hedison Manufacturing and Sardelli Jewelry. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, bingo and going to the beach, She is survived by her son, Anthony Scotto; her daughter, Joyce Swift and her husband Thomas, and two grandsons, Jeffrey and Michael Swift. She was the mother of the late Robert Scotto and the sister of the late Antonio Ravo, Josephine Santo, Mary Montecalvo and Theresa Ravo. Visiting hours will be Friday morning, August 25, 2017 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence, Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
