Jean N. Grzych (Patnaude), 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 17, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Captain Henry A. Grzych. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Harriet (Bacon) Patnaude.
She is survived by her loving children, Daniel J. Grzych and his wife Gayle Lafond, Nancy Jean Grzych and Gail Violet and her husband Henry A. “Bud” Violet. She is also survived by her cherished grandson, Daniel V. Grzych. A special thanks to her caring nephew Walter Buchanan.
Jean was a smart, caring, creative, humorous mother and grandmother and will always be a part of us.
Her funeral will begin Tuesday, November 22nd at 9am, followed by a Service at 10am at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation will be Monday 5-8pm.
