James Starnino

James M. Starnino, 35, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Johnston on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

He was the beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Gail (Gemma) Starnino, and the grandson of the late Julio and Silvia Starnino, and Anthony and Marie Gemma.

James was a longtime employee of Stop & Shop, where he served as manager of the Online Pickup Department. He was an avid fan of Star Trek and Charmed, and he adored his much-loved dog, Chico.

Besides his parents, he leaves behind his brother, Joseph Starnino Jr., and two sisters, Kirby Golomboski and Holly Starnino, as well as his niece, Olivia, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
