James Fuoroli

James M. Fuoroli, 91, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan (Ford) Fuoroli, to whom he was married for 68 years, and the much-loved father of his children, Caryn James, Kim Smeltzer and James M. Fuoroli, Jr., and grandchildren, James M. Fuoroli, III and Marissa Fuoroli.

Jim Fuoroli was a self-employed business owner for many years, and later worked in real estate. He was an active member of the Sons of Italy (Sal Mancini Lodge), from whom he received a community service award. He was known for his kindness, generosity and warm sense of humor.

He was the son of the late Mariano and Gloria (Rodrigues) Fuoroli, and the brother of the late John and William Fuoroli and Mary Compagnone. In addition to his children and grandchildren he is survived by his brother-in-law, Salvatore Compagnone.

At his request, funeral and burial will be private.
