Obituary

Irma Mandeville, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Cherry Hill Manor in Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Mandeville.

Born in Freising, Germany, on December 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Georg and Maria (Hoffmeister) Nussmann. Irma immigrated to the United States in 1954, where she built a successful career as a businesswoman and real estate investor.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Irma is survived by her daughters, Marie Mandeville and Frances Lefebvre; her son, George Mandeville, and his wife, Donna; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Murdock and her husband, John; her grandsons, Jonathan, Alexander, and Matthew Mandeville; her great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Evelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Irma found great joy in hosting gatherings for family and friends. She also had a lifelong love of gardening and music.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, RI. A Prayer Service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at East Cemetery in Manchester, Connecticut.
