Ida White, 72, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 2, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald White.

Born in Angri, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Francesca (Rosamelia) Biondi.

Ida worked as a school bus driver for First Student for many years before retiring.

She leaves behind her sister, Rosa Ritacco and her husband, Antonio, her brother John Biondi; her grandson, Ryan White; her step-grandson, Matthew Mumford; her niece, Maria Carlucci; her nephew, Joseph Ritacco; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also leaves her companion Bob DiFilippo who helped care for her and her former daughter-in-law, Lisa Mumford.

She was the beloved mother of the late Donnie White who predeceased her in 2007 and now joins him in eternal rest. She was also the sister of the late Antonio, Elio, Aurelio, and Giulio Biondi.

Her funeral services will be held on Friday morning, November 6, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
